Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2026

ScreenAtlas exists to remember what you watch — not to watch you. This policy is short because our data practices are short.

What we collect

  • Account data. Your email address and a hashed password, so your shelf syncs across devices and survives reinstalls.
  • Watch activity. The shows and movies you track, episodes you check in, ratings you leave, and your watchlist. This is the product — it's yours, and it's stored to make the app work.
  • Basic technical logs. Standard server logs (request timestamps, error reports) used only to keep the service running.

What we never do

  • We never sell your data, and we never share your viewing history with advertisers or data brokers.
  • We don't build advertising profiles from what you watch.
  • No dark patterns. Deleting your account deletes your data.

Your choices

Export or delete your data any time by emailinghello@screenatlas.app from the address on your account. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Authentication runs on managed AWS infrastructure with industry-standard token handling.

Changes

If this policy ever changes in a way that affects your data, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
